Kuala Lumpur | February 19th, 2025 – We are thrilled to announce that KarbonMap, an incubated project under the Blue Sole Foundation backed by TEKO Solution, and WildAsia, a social enterprise focused on conservation and supporting local communities dependent on natural resources, have entered a strategic partnership to advance sustainability in the agricultural sector.
Through this collaboration, KarbonMap is aiming at providing cutting-edge software solutions to support WildAsia in managing its critical operations. Specifically, we will empower WildAsia to effectively manage key processes in their Wild Asia Group Scheme (WAGS) to creates a digital ecosystem connecting farmers, extension agents, and the palm oil value chain.
It streamlines farm data collection-covering legal, production, and sustainability metrics-transforming it into actionable insights. This empowers farmers to make informed, sustainable decisions, strengthening traceability, resilience, and market access by key modules as:
RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil) Process: KarbonMap's software solution will assist WildAsia in managing and monitoring the sustainable palm oil certification process according to RSPO standards, thereby helping to maintain transparency and compliance with international requirements.
BIO (Organic Product Process): We will support WildAsia in managing the production and certification process for organic products. This solution ensures that products meet organic standards while optimizing the process from cultivation to the final product.
Supply Chain Process: The software solution will help WildAsia optimize and track its supply chain, from managing input materials to distributing finished products. This helps minimize costs, improve efficiency, and ensure sustainability throughout the supply process.
KarbonMap and WildAsia are committed to enhancing operational efficiency and promoting sustainable values, contributing to long-term development goals and environmental protection in agriculture. This partnership benefits WildAsia's business processes and contributes to both organizations' shared mission of building a sustainable and efficient future.
About WildAsia
WildAsia was established in 2003 as a Malaysian-based social enterprise. They work to help adapt the way consumers, businesses, and traders operate, ensuring that they can leave a positive footprint on the developing world. They take a bottom-up approach, starting at the very beginning: the raw materials. It is here that they find ways to guide organizations in creating a better environment for their employees, local communities, and surrounding biodiversity.
Wild Asia’s Wild Asia Group Scheme (WAGS) supports independent small farmers to become traceable, sustainable, and resilient. WAGS integrates small farmers into deforestation-free, nature-positive supply chains, equipping them with the tools and knowledge to improve productivity, livelihoods, and market access.
